Thomas Died at sea on the voyage to Hobart and was buried at sea possibly near the Canary Islands.
This is confirmed by an entry in a Diary by Alexander Spence. Thomas had remarried but no new children. Elizabeth his new wife arrived in Hobart but no trace has been found of her.
The Children of Thomas were left to fend for themselves. The older siblings found work on farms.
