There is a record for a Cornelius Jessop aged 3 in the UK 1891 Census for Yorkshire, Atwick, District 7 living with his Grandparents Robert and Maria Jessop.(52,53) A 13 year old Cornelius Jessop also appears in the 1901 Census as a Servant. That same Census still has Robert and Maria no 62,63 but no grandson.
The 1871 Census has Robert and Maria (32,33) with two children William Highton? 6 and Hanna Maria 8.
Back to the 1891 Census and William H Jessop is living a few streets away with his wife Ellen and 6 Month old son John R. William is 26 so could this be Cornelius's Father and Mother. Possible with a new baby he was staying with Grandma and Grandpa for a while. The number work now to find more proof.
