The References or Citations used in this site are provided so that the information can be followed through. The format used is from the traditional MLA style guides found online.
In most cases the information is a basic Birth Death Marriage (BDM) index reference.
Here is the basic format for a traditional citation. It has four descriptors in the following order:
Author, Title, Publisher, Locator.
In greater detail with variants : Author(s), Article Title, Publication title, (Publisher place, Publisher name, Year published), Page number(s), Annotation.
Annotations are used to provide more detail on the location or state of the Citation. The Annotation is often used on this site to hold WEB site URL details.
